STOMP is a ministry dedicated to mobilizing the church in missions through short-term outreach projects, both locally and globally. Though the short-term trips occur primarily during the summer months, preparing for and coordinating them is a year-round process. As such, we are looking for people with a heart for missions who can commit themselves to the process for at least a year. We usually meet twice a month as an entire team to discuss ideas and progress on the team’s goals and responsibilities. In addition, within the STOMP team, there are several capacities in which you can serve:

Events Committee
- To promote and publicize STOMP
- Responsibilities including organizing and publicizing missions events, such as: Commission Service, Report Night, and STOMP Orientation. Venues for publicizing include bulletin announcements, information brochures, Rave cards, and Prayer cards

Training Committee
- To equip and train the Short-Term Mission teams
- Responsibilities include: Manual updates, training coordination, LA cultural immersion, retreat coordination, and leaders’ training

Support Committee
- To care and support for Short-Term Mission team members
- Responsibilities include: Providing resources and an avenue of accountability, encouraging leaders and team members, setting up a prayer support network, e-mailing updates to supporters, debriefing and putting together the Annual Testimony booklet.
